Kent Millikan is a 1965 graduate of Oberlin College, Ohio. He attained his Juris Doctorate in 1968 at the School of Law, College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, where he was the Executive Editor of the Law Review. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1968, and to the Washington State Bar in 1970.
He served as the Executive Director of Northwest Washington Legal Services, a five-county federally funded legal services program, from 1972 to 1974. He is a past President (1994/1995) and Trustee of the Snohomish County Bar Association, past President, Board Member and volunteer attorney for Snohomish County Legal Services, past President of Snohomish County Public Defender Association, member of the Washington State Bar Association, and Washington State Trial Lawyer's Association. He has served as a Superior Court Commissioners Pro Tem and as an arbitrator for the Snohomish County Superior Court Mandatory Arbitration program. Mr. Millikan has also served as a mediator in personal injury and family law cases.
Since entering private practice in 1974, Mr. Millikan has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of legal matters including general litigation, personal injury/negligence, insurance, family law, business law and business transactions, employment law, real estate, probate, estate planning, consumer protection, and debtor/creditor law, with emphasis on personal injury, family law, real estate, probate and business law.
Mr. Millikan enjoys racquetball and golf.
