Legal Assistant

Heather joined the Deno Millikan Law Firm in December 2025. While completing her bachelor’s degree in English at Illinois State University, she interned at the McClean County Juvenile Detention Center and developed a strong interest in the law and client advocacy.

Heather has worked as a personal injury paralegal in Georgia, Arizona, and Washington. She has an empathetic approach and an acute attention to detail. Heather prioritizes clear communication and ensures that clients feel heard, informed, and supported through the legal process.

Outside of work, Heather runs her own small art business. Her practice explores psychological and corporeal themes, using familiar imagery rendered strange to interrogate individual perception, the collective unconscious, and the porous boundary between inner and outer experience.
